ICC European Meeting

On 6th - 7th May 2014, ICC Czech Republic had the honour to host a meeting of the permanent heads of the European National Committees of the International Chamber of Commerce. The number of participants was previously undreamed of and approached the historic maximum. In total, 32 participants attended the meeting. Twenty national committees were represented. In addition to permanent heads, two representatives of ICC Headquarters arrived to Prague as well as the ICC European coordinator and two distinguished guests.

Participants of the meeting discussed both the current internal affairs of the ICC (for example Banking Commission issues, NCs website management or successful topics for local ICC events) and current political issues as well as their impact on the committees and the ICC as a whole. For example the EU Climate and Energy Package, the situation in Ukraine and other current topics were considered at the meeting. At the end of the first day, all participants were invited to a dinner at KampaPark restaurant situated in the historical part of the city.

ICC Czech Republic was pleased to host this prestigious event and hope that the meeting has met the expectations of all the participants.
